You just created the new AccountB, and already have over a dozen e-mails
in it?

When using their webmail app, and go to fowarding settings at
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#settings/fwdandpop, is AccountB
specified as to where forwarding points?  If it is not your AccountB
Gmail account, you'll have to "Add a forwarding address".

Despite the title for the video, the author is NOT showing how to
forward from Gmail to Gmail, but how to forward from Gmail to non-Gmail.
I haven't used the server-side forwarding option in Gmail for many
years, but when I tried back then to forward from one Gmail account to
another Gmail account, I was informed that Gmail won't forward to Gmail.

When you setup forwarding in your Gmail account, and if you selected
"Keep a copy", you should see in both AccountA and AccountB the same new
messages after forwarding was enabled.  All new e-mails in AccountA
should end up duplicated in AccountB.

Did you check POP access was enabled up in your Gmail account?

Oh, I thought you created the new AccountB Gmail account, added it to
Tbird, and were checking status in Tbird.  So, for the new AccountB
Gmail account, you are only using the webmail app, right?

But, at this point, you said you cannot log into AccountA Gmail using
Tbird.  You would have to use their webmail app until the issue is
resolved in Tbird.
