The military doesn't use long wire antennas.

The military used to be a big user of rhombic arrays back before
satellites for their frequency independant characteristics, but
a rhombic and a long wire are two different things.

If you actually knew anything about antennas you would know that.

There are still a few rhombic arrays around but they are mostly unused
these days as the military has gone primarily to satellites for long
range communications.

Last I heard there was still one at Fort Huachuca, but it was turned
over to the MARS station back in the 80's as surplus to military needs.

A long wire by it's nature is directional and there is no reason to
terminate one.
