Underlined is a perfect English phrase meaning "I
suspect," while such acronyms are best left to SMSes
and other instant messaging media plagued by illit-
erate teenagers.

/Diabolus in singulis est/. Ether wind is not pre-
sumed, but tested as a hypothesis:

  a. If there is no ether wind, a geostationary
      satellite will show no aberration.

  b. If there is a galactic ether wind, aberration
will be observed with a geostationary satel-
      lite.

Did you mean some other wrong "premise," which you
didn't care to name?
