carbon tax!

What a simperingly stupid foregone conclusion that mass fleecing is.

The "Greens" party are anything but GREEN!
In Australia it is compulsory to vote,
Right now done by preferential system where you must vote in order of
preference 1 for party A, 2 for B, 3 for C and so on a minimum of 16
times to be counted, OR just put one in the box for your party choice
This has designed prefences decided by the party box you tick
And this is what happens

To get votes parties do deals to share preferences, Labor, Greens
funnels votes as 2nd choice (as well as further count)
So both Labor and "GREENS" have become a alliance with "Fantasia"
climate policies turning the nation to ashes.

The so called Labor party has no Labor people on its cabinet

The Greens are often described as a “watermelon” party—green on the
outside, red on the inside. I see Albanese Labor as increasingly
committed to a green-left political agenda, while relying on Greens
preferences to strengthen its chances in close contests.

But the deeper problem, in my view, is that "Labor" has become distant
from the people it was founded to represent. Too few of its leading
figures appear to have come directly from jobs such as mining,
manufacturing, construction, rail or the trades. The party is
increasingly shaped by university, union, party-office,
ministerial-staff and professional policy careers.

The original Labor movement was built by tradespeople, miners, railway
workers, and factory hands—people who knew what a hard day's physical
work felt like..
Today, that base has largely been replaced by a professional political
class
.1. The Death of the "Blue-Collar" Politician
In the mid-to-late 20th century, a Labor MP was highly likely to have
come straight from a shop floor or a trade..
Today, a vast majority of Labor politicians in Australia follow a very
specific, insular career path..
The Pipeline:
They go straight from university to working as a political staffer,
then move into a role as a trade union official, and finally enter
parliament..
The Missing Link:
They have never run a business, never had to worry about making
commercial payroll, and have never worked a competitive job in the
private sector
.2. The Rise of the "Professional Class
"When modern Labor parties do recruit from outside politics, they
tend to pull from a very narrow pool of white-collar professionals,
which explains observation about "failed lawyers".

Our Australian commonwealth has survived numerous recessions, one
major depression, and two world wars.
Doubt if it will survive under a Albanese Labor Government.

So you're forced to vote, and then all you can do is vote
for a party, not a candidate? Do you people have any say
as to who the candidates are, or does the party decide
all that for you?

if a Candidate wishes to stand as a independent that candidate is not
given a party box, so to vote you have to fully open the ballot paper
(tablecloth size in a voting box that is to small to open without it
being folded)
You then need to put 1 in that candidates box then find 15 others to
continue in your order preference (most just donkey vote 1 to 16)
Have not seen anyone bother easier to put 1 in a party box then go to
a pub.

Below is how "Albanese Labor" gets in he stands as a "Labor Party"
candidate, but none in his cabernet are representative of being
Labor Party people
(their only purpose is to be reelected for more Greed Grab and theft)

My take
I don't even see "Albanese Labor" government as Labor party.

They are enacting fantasia of "green" ideas none of this fantasy are
benefiting Australia.
With. energy, debt, rents. housing affordability, wages, terrorism.
crime, worsening and of no benefit to population, in fact worsening as
each day goes by!

Not one member of the Albanese Cabinet is a labourer in the
traditional Labor sense. There are no miners, factory hands, railway
workers, construction labourers or long-term tradespeople who came
directly from the shop floor. The people now speaking for Labor
largely come from universities, party offices, ministerial staff
positions, unions, law and professional policy careers.

Our Australian commonwealth has survived numerous recessions, one
major depression, and two world wars.
Doubt if it will survive under a Albanese Labor Government.

No, in both cases you are voting for a particular candidate

When you number all the boxes in the order you want to,
you are spelling out which candidate you prefer if the one
you gave 1 to doesn't get enough votes to be elected

> Do you people have any say as to who the candidates are,

That's up to the candidates to put themselves up for election

The only say the partys have is who they agree to have as their candidate

If no party will have a particular candidate or the individual
decides no to be a candidate for any particular party, they
are free to stand as independants

No. You are not forced to vote. If you are registered to vote then
you are expected to get "marked off" at election time. Or you can pay
the fine. You dont need to actually vote. If you attend a polling booth
then you are issued marked ballots. You can walk right and and put these
right in the boxes without marking them. Or you can mail in an empty
envelope if you have arranged a mail-in vote.
Notoriously, people mail in all kinds of non-votes if you ask any of the
volunteers that have to open them up.

Those are HOW TO VOTES, not the actual ballot papers
and were only how to votes of one party that chose to
not spell out how they wanted voters with the other
partys to vote instead of specifying what they should
do voting wise for other partys for preferences

A few volunteers didn't like that so manually
amended those HOW TO VOTES

Verily it is written -- a thief suspects the honest of others.

The question to be answered is -- why dont multicultural communities
vote tory.

Possible answer: they remember last time.

Likely answer - they get more 'free stuff' from the other guys.

And:

A Clash of Values vs. Identity Politics

• Individualism vs. Group Identity: Liberal defenders (such as former or
current MPs) argue that conservative principles—such as small business
aspiration, lower taxes, hard work, and support for family and religious
schools—should naturally align with many socially conservative or
entrepreneurial migrant groups.

• The Disconnect: However, analysts point out that a cultural and
"values gap" has emerged, where the modern Liberal brand is increasingly
seen as tied to an older, white, regional demographic, making it harder
to convert natural social or fiscal conservatism into actual ballots.

• The Inclusivity Priority: Even if a voter likes the Liberal Party's
pro-business tax cuts, they are far more likely to prioritize a sense of
social belonging, anti-racism platforms, and being embraced by the
government.

Global Conflict End: April 30F, 1975 (Fall of Saigon).
Election and Order: Whitlam took office on December 5, 1972, and
immediately moved to end military conscription and withdraw the
remaining training and advisory personnel.Final Departure: The
absolute last elements of the Australian military left Vietnam in June
1973

Vietnamese refugees began taking to small boats immediately following
the fall of Saigon in April 1975, with thousands arriving in
neighboring Southeast Asian countries (such as Thailand, Hong Kong,
and Malaysia) before the phenomenon famously caught wider global
attention when the first refugee boat (Kein Giang) successfully sailed
all the way to Darwin Harbour in Australia on 26 April 1976.

Australia: Implemented its first official multicultural policies in
1973 under the Whitlam Government, driven heavily by Immigration
Minister Al Grassby and later shaped by sociologist Jerzy Zubrzycki
Australia fought in the Vietnam War for 10 years, spanning from August
1962 to December 1972.

South Vietnam was Australia's primary ally during the conflict.
Australian forces fought directly alongside the Army of the Republic
of Vietnam (ARVN) against the Viet Cong and the North Vietnamese Army.

Whitlam said on the ABC that Australia did not want “another
reactionary right-wing minority”. Foreign minister Don Willesee
pleaded with him to take more. Whitlam replied: “I’m not having those
f..king Vietnamese Balts coming into this country with their religious
and political prejudices against us.”

Whitlam opposed the entry of Vietnamese refugees, saying they stirred
no sympathy in him. He added: “There will be some resentment about the
people coming to Australia at a time of unemployment, and also people
from a very different way of life.”

In other words, Whitlam consciously stirred up ethnic and racial
prejudice against Vietnamese because he thought they might be
politically hostile to Labor.

Ihe Final Evacuation Contradiction
The final days of the Australian presence in Saigon highlight the
deliberate nature of the policy:
Empty RAAF Planes: When the final Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF)
Hercules transport planes took off from Saigon, they left with dozens
of empty seats. The pilots and embassy staff on the ground wanted to
load them with fleeing Vietnamese allies, but strict, direct orders
from Whitlam’s office prevented them from doing so.

The Contrast with Fraser: The moment Malcolm Fraser took over later
that year, he didn't need new information to act.
The exact same intelligence briefs were available, but Fraser chose to
act on the moral obligation, immediately launching the rescue
operations that brought the 60,000 refugees to safety.

Australia first accepted Vietnamese refugees by boat on April 26,
1976, when the first unregistered refugee vessel (Kien Giang) sailed
into Darwin Harbour. Small numbers had also arrived earlier in 1975
via specialized evacuations like Operation Babylift, but April 1976
marks the official start of the sustained "boat people" arrivals

The historical consensus is clear: Whitlam was not operating in the
dark.
He knew exactly what the consequences would be for Australia's allies,
and he chose to let the door slam shut anyway.
Whitlam used the same defence as Göring, tried minimize his personal
awareness or involvement in his mass extermination?

Our Australian commonwealth has survived numerous recessions, one
major depression, and two world wars.
Doubt if it will survive under a Albanese Labor Government.

Nothing whatever to do with multiculturalism

We had LOTS of multiculturalism LONG before
that, most obviously the Ming's Columbo Plan

BULLSHIT

Lots of multiculturalism with immigrants LONG before that

Arfer Caldwell did plenty of that just because he was a racist bigot

Because the vietnamese were storming the planes
and there was a real risk of them becoming unamble
to take off due to being grossly overloaded

That last is a bare faced lie
