Groß ist die Auswahl entsprechend der Nachfrage eher nicht. Aber solide
Kandidaten findest Du immer bei den üblichen Datacenterausstattern.

Ich verwende z.B. die Vorgänger des Chenbro SK33502T3 3x5.25“.
Supermicro CSE-M35TQB 3x5.25 hat erwartungsgemäß auch einen guten Ruf.

Bei diesen Profivarianten mußt Du allerdings evtl. einplanen, etwas
harmlosere Lüfter einzubauen. Zumindest früher waren da immer völlig
erbarmungslose Lüfter drin, kompromisslos auf Kühlleistung ausgelegt.
Also schweinelaut in Orkanstärke - Datacenter halt.
Mit geeigneten Lüftern sind die aber OK und auch die Kühlung stimmt dann
noch (Obacht bei Mindestdrehzahl - man kann die unterschreiten, aber
dann muß man den Alarm der die überwacht, deaktivieren. Sonst machen
zumindest die Chenbros Alarm auf beinahe Feuermelderlautstärkenniveau.)

Dafür ist das solide Qualität und Laufwerksschlitten bekommt man da
immer problemlos auch relativ günstig als refurbished Ware z.B. in der
Bucht. Und Du bekommst die auch noch in 10 Jahren.
Weil die Einschübe sind identisch zu den in den Servern verwendeten und
daher in Massen im Umlauf.

Deren 3x5.25er waren schon immer im Verhältnis zu obengenannten völlig
überteuert und in Sachen Kühlung lausig. Die aktuellen Modelle scheinen
auch nur noch Plastik zu sein.

Als Kabel wüßte ich nicht. Ich kenne sowas immer nur als
Backplanelösung mit Einschüben.

Mein jüngster Rechner hat das schon onboard. Ist aber zugegebenermaßen
noch ungewöhnlich. In meinen alten Heimserver hab ich ganz klassisch
eine 10GbE Karte einfach als PCIe nachgerüstet. Ist längst nicht mehr so
kostspielig wie noch vor einigen Jahren.

Ich kenne schon Leute, die mit ihrem Homelab bereits bei 25GbE oder gar
100GbE angekommen sind. Ganz soweit bin ich noch nicht.
