If it was written full of vulgarities or other forms of offensive speech that I find myself unwilling to read, should I not be able to claim that it is useless to me? You seem to be looking for some objective definition of quality content. I doubt such exists. Something that is of high quality in, say, a specification document, might be entirely useless for a teach-ten-year- olds-to-program course. And vice versa. Gene Wirchenko did not claim that Thomas Lahn's posts were worthless to anyone. He only said that they did not meet his standards. Why are you riding him on this? -- Scott
