If you think a discussion is not usefull FOR YOU, you are free, imho, 
to say so and stop being part of such discussion.

But that has no inkling on the value of the arguments, only of the 
discussion.

If you were momentarily blind or your computerscreen fails, and no one [and 
no Cortana] could read the discusion to you, would that change the value of 
an argument?

I submit you are just blind to Swahili, Hopi, and Aramaic.

Reading the Talmud, which is mainly in Arameic, which is for 90% argumenting 
and counterargumenting, is a joy and very informative about discussion.

The arguments in the Talmud sometimes read as a computer programme, with if-
then-else constructs or tripolar evaluation.
