But it seems, as if he would read his speech from a manuscript. The pronounciation is also very bad and he had a very heavy German accent. This was a video from after a decade in the USA. It is actually unsual, to speak English with such a heavy accent after such a long time, because it's the environment, which dictates how we speak and how that sounds like. If you live in a foreign country long enough, you will inevetably speak the local language, because the human brain is made to communicate and you can only communicate with peeople which are actually there. Since Einstein spoke quite poor English, we are forced to assume, that his brain was not really prepared to learn the local language, which was, of course, English at Princton. But if so, how did he manage to learn French and Italian at a relatively young age? ... TH
