But his English after many years at Princton was just terrible. From this I had drawn the conclusion, that language in general was not his thing. Now, any new language takes a couple of years to learn, which is independent of age. It is actually easier to learn a new language late in life, if you have practise in learning. But apparently Einstein didn't do that, as we can see in his English skills. Therefore, it is even more unlikely, that he learned Italian in half a year in Pavia in Italy. So, we need to extend his period in Italy to achieve enough skills in Italian to become a fluent speaker. That is actually possibly, because the former jesuit facility (next door to the Einsteins) house a colledge today, which write on their web-page, that Albert Einstein lived several years next door. But, without going into details, this would not fit to his CV. It is actually unlikely, that his official biography is somehow true, because he migrated (allegedly) as a teenager from Germany to Italy and from there to Swizerland and did so alone, while his family lived in Pavia. Much more likely is a different story, where Einstein never lived in Germany as a kid, but was actually Swiss citizen from birth. Taken this story as true, than everything would fit: he was able to aquire Swiss citizenship, he was able to speak German, Italian and French and went to school in Aarau, studied in Zurich and worked in Bern (all Swiss towns). >> Italian and French are naturall guesses only, because that is actually >> unknown. > > Not unknown. But for someone slow in learning languages, two or three years are not enough to become fluent in two new languages. That somehow has changed a bit, after I have ploughed through his article for three years. It looks like skilled work of some specialists, which intentionally create pseudo-science crap. I have actually trouble to believe, that Einstein had written these four articles of 1905 himself. The reason is, that in 1905 typewriters were not commonly available and Einstein had to write hundreds of pages by hand. This could only be done at the kitschen table at candle light with ink and feather. But he worked all day and had a young family, which would not really fit to spending thousands of hours with writing articles at night. In my view, that entire story is fraud and fake.
