Until a baby finally speaks, the neurons in the brain had almost three years to develop in the appropriate order. Now three years is much longer than Einstein had to learn Italian and French. But I know elederly people, who had learned a new language in less than a year. So: these people apparently had neurons availible, which are able and willing to learn something new.
