If I was going to murder someone or do some terrorism,
I'd get another Opal card and use that for the murder in
case they keep track of who got the card in the first place
or can work out who it is by checking the other use of that
anonymous card and pin it on me by using the cameras etc.

You do to get the card that entitles you to 4 free trips a year.

Basically 4 free trips a year, anywhere in the 
state for the full trip with stops for 12 hours fine. 

Free car rego, but not free CTP insurance, 
Free drivers license. 
Some discounts on power and rates. 
Much cheaper scripts. 

I should get off my arse and do the paperwork, 
its costing me about $1k a year, mostly on the
rego and license and scripts.

Too much hassle in my case and they can see you've done that anyway.
