I have never cared and if I did plan to murder someone
etc would just get an anonymous Opal card to travel with
to do the deed or get away from the scene of the crime.

Be interesting to see what the cops would do
if the Cronulla riots happened again today tho
with the Opal records. Hopefully the most stupid
of the terrorists are being tracked as we type.

Didn't notice that because I have always done it online
as soon as it was possible. In fact when Telecom started
to allow you to pay your phone bill on the phone with
an automated service which I automated at my end too,
the first day it went live, they were so swamped by people
using it that I ended up with a human and she was pretty
pissed off when I said I wanted to use the new machine.

Yeah, but that one does make sense because those who insist
on the dinosaur stuff should be paying the cost of posting them
a bill when it can be done much more cheaply electronically.
