I used to drink VB before I started making my own.

Much prefer Carlton Draught to that now. It wasn't available
then, someone gave me a carton for some work I did for him.

Yeah, was planning to try it but then forgot to.

Going to be interesting to watch it take off now its legal.

Yeah, didn't think of that. They'd just kicked me out of St Vincents
with very little prior warning and I had just booked the plane back.

I normally fly, the only reason I used the train was because the
kids were paying for it. Much slower, 10 hours compared with 90mins.

Yeah I didn't notice any while I was there either.

Yeah, its not that fast at all even with an Apple charger.

Another good reason to use one of those battery packs,
you can carry on doing what you want to do while it charges.

Weird. The Xplorer trains are fine with it. The
youngest turk did ask the café on the train if
they would charge his ipad and they pointed
him at the power point at the end of the carriage.

Didn't notice anyone but me charging their phone
on the XPT but I didn't need to go past the public
dunnys on the train except when I walked from
end to end to have a good look at the train itself.

I was the only person in a first class day sleeper
because he decided to drive to sydney so late
that that was all that was left midday on the
the day before. And when I missed the train,
they couldn't actually rebook me to economy
and give me the difference, just rebook the
same class of seat the next day.

Those first class day sleepers have their own
shower and dunny between each pair and
the other person in the other pair spent most
of his time asleep, brought his own pillow etc.

Dunno. They have torched a few places in the past with the turks
they got in considerable numbers and it didn't come to that.

The one I used out to Dulwich Hill and back was, but that because
it used the old Darling Harbour freight rail line permanent way.

In Canberra its gunna run down the massive central park thing
down the middle of Northbourne Ave so there's a lot more to
be done construction was and that will cost much more.

Yeah, and that one cost much more too, hardly surprising given

Don't think I ever used those when I live in Sydney. Lived in Northwood
and mostly used the ferrys, when I was a primary school kid.
