Mainly because I don't do it that much at all now.

Yeah, I'd be very surprised if I only paid $11 for the taxi.

Might well be very different now with Uber tho, must try that next time.

I mostly used taxis in the past because work was paying.

When I was paying I did sometimes use the airline bus from
the city to the airport. Pretty clapped out buses tho and
nothing like as fast as the train and that was in the days
before the massive traffic congestion.

The taxi from the Cross was fine, but that was around lunchtime.

I'd be surprised if there isn't something there if only for the
cleaner's vacuum cleaner tho I spose they might use those
backpack battery powered things in places like that.

Yeah, that's what I was planning to use when I
headed out of Central and ended up in the TAFE.

I did use the one in the Platform 1 waiting room more than once,
didn't think to check for a power point at the time. Bet there is at
least a power point in there intended for shavers. Not ideal to
camp out in the dunny waiting for the phone to charge but
quite a bit more convenient than the walk up to the TAFE.

Yeah, tho the XPT and Xplorer trains are happy for the
pax to use their shavers.

It looked like they are just locked boxes that some ape shows
up at, takes the phones away and charges them somewhere
else and brings them back. Not free either. That was the other
reason I didn't want to use it, I needed the phone for the most
basic getting around and doing stuff like finding a backpackers
I could dump my bag at instead of carting it around all day.

There is a baggage place at the same end of the grand concourse
as Platform 1, in that corner, but it wasn't that cheap at all. Since
I needed to get the backpackers reserved anyway, it was just as easy
to dump the bag there and then walk over to the PowerHouse Museum.

Yeah, that's what his work said, leave the car at home and
use public transport. They can both drive so she can use
the car during the day. Not sure how well she will go in
Sydney traffic tho, she's not as confident driving as he is.

Their grandparent live in Gosford and will come
into Ryde by car but refuse to go on to Parramatta.

Yeah, the light rail was when I used it thru the arvo.
Went right out to the end of the line and back.

I thought those were a lefty wank but that one does work very well indeed.

Rather more comfortable to use than busses too.

Fucking expensive to build tho with the latest ones like in Canberra.

Yeah, didn't notice any damage at all inside any of the trains I used.

Hell of a lot of graffiti on the walls of propertys on the rail lines tho.
