Yeah, it does make sense with other than the highest volume stations.

Yeah, great system, go anywhere you like for $2.50

The Melburg system is different, free travel on Sunday.
Not likely to be as useful for me.

The Haymarket pub I grabbed dinner at was $12 including beer,
with a choice of steak, chicken schnitzel and some vegetarian thing.

Haven't really sorted out what I drink when I can't drink my own.
Carlton Draught was very decent after wandering around all day
on foot with nothing to drink at all, just an apple from my bag
while waiting for the phone to charge in the Sydney TAFE.

Didn't care for the Piloni that we got stuck into at the most recent wake.

Is there anything that avoids the $11
to get out of the station there like buses ?

Last time I went from the Cross I went by taxi, forget the cost.

I meant just a power point I can plug my own charger into.

The XPT does in the in the day sleeper compartments.
The dunnys do too tho those aren't as convenient to use.

The youngest turk says that the Explorer trains have at
least one power point you are free to use at the end
of the carriages. Those Xplorers are actually rather
better for here than the XPT service which has a bus
from Wagga, but only runs once a week. The hybrid
XPT/bus service is daily and in the evening too on
two days of the week. The Explorer service is much
faster too, 6 hours as opposed to 10 with no farting
around with a bus.

Yeah, that's the one the countrylink ape told me about.
I turned my nose up at that and decided that there must
be some power points outside central and found Sydney
TAFE after some I asked in the tunnel up that way told me
about it.

It showed up last Thursday and he headed off to Sydney
on the Explorer service on Sunday to stay with his sister.

He just asked me on facebook about child seats in single
cab bench seat utes and didn't say anything about it and
I didn't think to ask him how it was going.

I likely will get one of those or something similar so
I can have the iphone powered for the garage sale
run and can use full time Siri to make voice calls with
the phone and battery backup in my pocket with a
bluetooth neckband headset so I use the same thing
whether I am in the car or inside the garage sale.

And can obviously use it in the train or when around Sydney.

I must get off my arse and do the paperwork get
the pension card so I get the 4 free trips every year.

The kids have just moved into the place they rented,
older house in Parramatta. Didn't have any trouble
finding a place to rent and could have had a granny
flat just round the corner from the relos they were
camping with in Ryde. Much worse travel wise to
the work in Parramatta tho. The place in Parramatta
is pretty well located, easy walk to work, decent parks
for the midget, quite apart from the Parramatta park
itself next to where he works.

Didn't notice any goons myself, but I didn't use the full trains
much, just from Central to the two airport stations and back.
Pretty stuffed with people quite late in the arvo.
