I just plop DVD's into the DVD player.  (Ironic given your television 
reply below).

I certainly don't need my movies available wherever I go.

I don't have "local televsion" having taken down the roof antenna and 
discontinued cable.

As you like.  Since I use my home computer a lot, hitting the Apple Play 
button is really no big deal.

Wow.  You win that race by about 30 seconds.  I'd lose more time than 
that fucking around with iTunes in order that it be ready to save that 
30 seconds.
