Has anyone ever tried to port telnetd to GNO/ME?

The only telnet server I'm aware of for the Apple II is the one that comes with Contiki. Very cool, but a telnet server for GNO seems like it would enable all sorts of interesting uses. For example, one could theoretically write scripts or shell apps that support multiple simultaneous users --like a true, natively-hosted telnet-based multi-user BBS.

The BSD/GNO/Marinetti tangle is beyond my own coding skills, otherwise I'd give this a try myself...
