I think that is probably the final statement. Western Europe splits into two groups - the Germanic languages and the Romance. English is a hybrid of both with smatterings of Celtic languages thrown in. And, latterly, Malay, Hindi, Arabic, Bantu....and anything else that was handy. All broadly Indo European. Except the far East bits. -- In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is. -- Yogi Berra

They spread the idea that parts of society are so evil they must be killed and the next thing you know someone takes them as seriously as they do themselves. Far left in the America's is confined to Cuba and Venezula and their governments struggle for power when they lose an election. Of course in Cuba only one party is allowed. In Venezula they ignore the result of an election and persecute the winner. Here in the USA we had one man who killed a good man and barely wounded his target and he was neither right nor left but confused by the rhetoric of the Right Wing decided assassination was the game to play. Another did not even get his rifle out of the car before he was apprended. In Brazil we had a Right winger who approved of the Death Squads terrorizing and Murdering people whom they thought were not good people based on their faiths or merely on the intent to show they were in control. He was replaced with a Centrist whom Trump would like to replace and the former Right Winger Bolsonaro was sent to prison.>> >> But it is correct that the greatest insights into people's worldviews >> happen when they criticise the worldviews of others. I have met many disturbed people who believed that they were transgender people. Generally they continued their slow self-destruction with alcohol or other drugs but some committed suicide. But when you blame groups of people for the unhappiness that pervades society due to various problems then you will have confused people. Transgender people are only interested in transitioning from whatever their present designation is to another and they concentrate on following doctor's directions and trying to save money for whatever surgery they want to have. Some don't want surgery at all because they want to be women or men and are not satisfied with the current state of body modification surgeries which are quite primitive. And if you are keeping score lots of Transgender Male to Female variety are murdered but I think women are far ahead in terms of death and survivial of violence usually by males. But even Brandon Teena a Female to Male transgender was murdered out of male jealousy. He was taking the women that males considered their local property away, they thought. <https://www.triviavoices.com/the-inconvenient-truth-about-teena-brandon.html> An incest survivor. Researching this i read about other murders which were not as well publicized. For Transgender Male to Female there are lists. <https://en.wikipedia.org › wiki › List_of_people_killed_for_being_transgender> These murders are endless and few male to female transgender realize that in asserting that they are women they open themselved to misogenic violence. Femicide is the term used. <https://vpc.org/press/nearly-nine-out-of-10-women-murdered-by-men-are-killed-by-someone-they-know-and-two-thirds-die-by-gunfire-new-violence-policy-center-study-finds/> That raises several other questions ignored by the violence wing of the former Republican Party. Some want to call it the Rebelpuclican party since it advocates a return to the White Male Supremacy of the Confederacy. bliss

No. The far left is the group embracing Muslims and chanting anti-semitic slogans here. -- "When a true genius appears in the world, you may know him by this sign, that the dunces are all in confederacy against him." Yeah - English speakers adopting French terms isn't as common as it used to be,* but a lot of the expressions that have been imported over the centuries are still in semi-common use. * (It'd be interesting to trace this behavior in a global context over time - these days, for example, most of our novel loanwords seem to come from Japanese, post-anime boom.)

When ordering omakase in a restaurant, you’re leaving it up to the chef to serve you whatever they think is best. Oma(kase) + (A)rch + y is supposedly where the name comes from." I haven't seen Hansson explain the name. He might be right. https://anarchyinstaller.gitlab.io/ The Anarchy installer is more explicit :)

It also now has “strict mode”, so you can protect yourself from some of the stupider parts. Of course, I mainly use it in web pages. I have no experience writing code for NodeJS, for example, so someone who had to might have a different opinion ...

One of our spelling challenged programmers inadvertently added a field to the equivalent of a C struct. Setting baar = true doesn't help much when another section of code checks for the value of bar. Well, even without perfect translation, we all GET IT :-) PHP is bliss by comparison.
