The translations from Spanish to English by DeepL are very good. The 
reverse are not that good. Other languages, I do not know. German to 
English is readable, the result makes sense, but I don't know if they 
are accurate. ~15 years ago German to English was horrible.

Certainly. Reading in the original language is the best experience, 
although one may still not understand some things because they are cultural.

So a note by the translator is nice to have. Better than nothing. Means 
the translator was well paid, too.
