When I first got my Epson, sane did not have any drivers for it, so I
hadda use an old W98 box. I finally found an
iscan-proprietary-drivers rpm pkg and got it working on my Slackware
box with xsane. Perhaps they got that straightened out, now. I
remember my printer used to be a pain, too, but now takes less
time/hassle to setup on a linux box than on a windows box. Linux jes
keeps getting better. ;)
