In Windows 10 I actually like watching Netflix better in a BROWSER than
in the W10 Netflix APP. It has (IMO) a better preview feature. But I
digress. Netflix also keeps records on everything watched... 8-O

In Windows 10 Settings > Privacy > Diagnostics you'll find: "Choose how
much data to send to Microsoft" under which you have two choices: BASIC
or FULL. There is no NONE. It is SUPPOSED to be only diagnostic and can
SUPPOSEDLY be deleted. Perhaps it can be defeated by using a local
account? But for the truly paranoid who knows...

Some (many?) non-Google apps also spy on you. One really has little
control. Perhaps paying cash for magazines, books, newspapers and DVDs
is the answer. No wait there are all those security cameras watching...
