  Huh? You mean that Netflix doesn't have a dedicated app/program for
Linux (like it has for iOS, Android and Windows 10)? But why can't you
use Netflix in a webbrowser on Linux, i.e. like one would for any other
computer?

  Crossed wires. I mean that if you don't want Google to spy on you, you
obviously shouldn't run any apps written *by* Google *for* Android. But
you can still use apps for Android (i.e. 'Android apps') which are *not*
written by Google.

  If the "suggestions from google as to their crap to download" do *not*
come from the (Google) Play Store app, then give a specific, literal
example, preferably a screenshot.
