And while most gcc extensions are not conflicting (they often use implementation-reserved names), in conforming mode some should give diagnostics because they are syntax errors. And in some cases there are direct conflicts, such as "asm" being a keyword in the gcc extensions, but a valid user identifier in conforming mode.
