The reason you are having difficulty with this is because you are still living in he dark old days when aether was in vogue and nobody could work out how to actually synchronize a pair of clocks. If you bump your head on a brick wall you know it doesn't give way easily. We can assume that a brick remain the same whatever happens to it.
