Nope, that is a good analogy. You make a motion change to something and then reverse the change (bringing it back to zero velocity), it is exactly the same as it was originally. This has been explained to you many times before. IRT does not agree with SR so SR cannot possibly be a subset of IRT. Of course where IRT is a complete failure is where it disagrees with SR.
