The detailed government list requires an advanced chemistry degree to 
translate it into English or Spanish. It's mostly ammonia, chlorine, or 
iodine compounds. Backyard chicken farmers use dish washing liquid, 
vinegar, bleach (chlorine) or similar cleaning products.

Aside: keeping chickens in the city requires a $30 license that's good for 
three years.
