Limitless resources, properly managed, can produce 'the right stuff' indeed. When you have strictly limited resources, manpower, time, money etc you have to fly by the seat of your pants. Bootstrapping a tightly funded and resourced startup is an exhausting, exhilarating and intensely rewarding experience. The real test is how long it lasts. Launch day is often the most intense experience but the real test was "was the business still running after 6 months, a year, two?" If you are still in business after two years then you can probably chalk it up as a limited success. By then most of the show stoppers have been found and fixed, you have a team in place and it's time to move on. 9-5 it isn't Big money it isn't, necessarily. (shares are nice though) Fun it most certainly is. -- Lipska the Kat©: Troll hunter, sandbox destroyer, treacherous feline and farscape dreamer of Aeryn Sun GNU/Linux user #560883 - http://www.linuxcounter.net
