You're right; while it will read the example data as given, it won't read the same data as output by the program and then read in again. That might have obviated the need for extensive error checking, if data was machine generated like this but including some degree of flexibility in format. But as it is, it's not so useful. (The version I posted [15.2.18] will read its output, with a 99999 upper limit due to output format but which is easily fixed.) -- bartc
