No, it's simply unspecified behaviour.  That may be what you mean, of
course, because you might be using "undefined" in a loose way, but
"undefined behaviour" has a specific meaning in relation to the C
standard and this is not undefined behaviour.

This paragraph has phrases that I don't understand ("cast to a union
member" for example) and I can't extract from it an answer to my
question, but since it's not about C I won't press for one.
