So, if some code survives forward, then the product now is the same as
it was back then?  Well, using your logic, every program that uses
libraries, or was programmed using Microsoft's C libs, are all over
decades old despite the program just showed up, every video game that
uses the DirectX libs are all 22 years old despite they were just
released yesterday, and you are as old as yourself plus your father's
age when you were born, and his father's age, and so on arguably making
you over 40,000 years old.
