Ah, there you have me.

Clearly he still has the same email address but I know nothing of any 
'improvements' being made by Russian isp's. I am assuming you know 
something I don't. Such a change may well explain this 'new' string of 
gibberish which precedes his e-address. No doubt this long string is, 
in part, explained by its interpretation of Cyrillic?

Am I correct in my belief that when I see (in non-Russian Email) a 
person's name preceeding their <>-wrapped e-address, it's because of 
the way they have set-up their (for instance) Outlook Express? (As 
opposed to anything I might have stored about them within my email 
software.)
