Also mindestens mal "Male changed to Female" und "Female changed to Male" 
würden bestimmt einige auch als mindestens seltsam ansehen und sicherlich 
nicht als "natürlich gegebene" Struktur.
Letztlich ist aber natürlich auch das ein Zeichen einer technischen 
Höherentwicklung, nämlich, daß es überhaupt machbar ist. Muß man ja nicht 
gut finden.

In Tech-Stories weitergedacht, ist das Thema aber sowieso spannend. Ich 
bin mir auch ziemlich sicher, daß, wenn es erstmal die Augen mit dem 
verbesserten Sehen (Wellenlängen, Empfindlichkeit, Nachtsehen) gibt und 
v.a. (daran scheitert es ja bisher massiv) diese auch an den Nervus 
opticus adaptierbar sind und da "anwachsen", es auch - auf dieser weiten 
und leicht schrägen Welt, wie sie nunmal aktuell ist - Leute geben wird, 
die sich sowas einbauen lassen werden.
Es gibt ja mittlerweile auch Leute, die privat ins All geflogen sind und 
wenn der geliebte Hund nicht mehr ist, kann man sich in Südkorea einen 
Klon anfertigen lassen (gibts schon ein paar Jahre zum Festpreis von 10E5 
Dollar). Spannend finde ich auch Beinextensionen, damit Leute ca. 7cm 
größer werden.
Zu den akzeptierteren Sachen, die aber auch massiv in Richtung Cyborg und 
Auflösung der normalen Körper"mechanismen"/-"grenze" gehen, gehören 
Cochlea-Implantate, Pacemaker, künstliche Gelenke, Bifurcationsersatz-OPs 
u.v.a.m.
