Probably.  From what I've read, it looks like everything is
easy enough except for the gShift.  The scancodes generated
are the same whether the gShift is down or not.  Apparently
you'll need to boot into windows and change g600 "profiles"
or whatever, so that different codes are generated, so that
this state can then be detected under linux.  IOW, you can
do it, but preliminaries have to be dealt with under windows
first.

I doubt it.  I believe your lua script talks to the LGS software.
Does that matter?
