No matter how you were built, with whatever "DNA repair", _Oxygen _Consumption _Per _Pound determines your lifespan. Like reptiles, Naked MoleRats assume the temperature of their surroundings, thus _consuming far less oxygen ( per pound ). Quoting https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naked_mole-rat#Thermoregulation cold naked mole-rats huddle together or seek shallow parts of the burrows that are warmed by the sun. Conversely, when they get too hot, naked mole-rats retreat to the deeper, cooler parts of the burrows. Compared to rats, MoleRats have low metabolic/respiratory rates, less oxygen intake ( per pound ); hence the longer lifespan. Compared to your ancestors, you have a sedentary lifestyle, and artificial heaters/coolers; so you live longer. Compared to birds, Mammals have weaker mitochondria. You can't change how you were built.
