Man braucht nicht unbedingt elektronische Schaltkreise ('Chips') um
Informationen zu speichern.
Auch macht gespeicherte Information einen Chip nicht massereicher.
Das könnte man theoretisch messen, indem man einen Speicherbaustein
sorgfältig wiegt und dann mit Informationen vollschreibt und nochmal wiegt.
Aber meine Intuition sagt mir: da ist keine Masse hinzugekommen.
Eine andere Frage wäre, wieviel Energie man benötigt, um etwa einen
USB-Stick mit 16 GB mit Informationen zu befüllen.
Dabei dürfte sich diese Energie aber nicht wiedergewinnen lassen und
deshalb wohl nicht in der Information stecken.
Auch selbst wenn man exakt 35 Elektronen für ein bit brauchen sollte,
dann sind die Elektronen wahrscheinlich immer noch da, selbst wenn das
bit bereits weg ist.
