Hierzulande nicht. Selbst die Mittelwelle blueht und gedeiht. Digitaler 
UKW-Rundfunk wurde in den USA von den Konsumenten nicht akzeptiert und 
konsequent ausgesessen. Was ich sehr begruesse. Auch mein CDMA-Foenchen 
duerfte noch lange leben, falls ich nicht mit dem Mountain Bike einen

Digitalfernsehen haben sie leider dann doch per Gesetz durchgedrueckt. 
Schwerer Fehler. Die Zuschauerzahlen und damit die Werbeeinahmen brachen 
staerker weg, als ich das dem Technikchef eines Sender sagte (er wollte 
es damals nicht glauben). Weil der Kram staendig wegpixelt, haben wir 
uns letztens ein Android Kaeschtle fuer den Fernseher besorgt. Damit 
kann man die Abendnachrichten auch dann sehen, wenn das komplette 
Angebot over-the-air weggepixelt ist.

Vieles. Zum einen Geraete, bei denen es keine Ersatzteile mehr gibt, die 
aber teuer sind. Zum anderen Dinge, die Leuten ans Herz gewachsen sind. 
Sollte der Roehrenverstaerker unserer Hammond Orgel Baujahr 1961 
tatsaechlich mal kaputtgehen, wuerde ich den natuerlich reparieren.

Manchmal geht der einsatz dabei weit. Z.B. habe ich mal einen 
vertrockneten Becherelko ausgekratzt und einen moderneren in kleinerer 
Bauform reingesetzt. Auf diese Art sah das ganze so aus, als ob noch 
immer der alte Ducati-Elko drin saesse. Bis zu dieser Reparatur dachte 
ich immer, die wuerden nur Motorraeder herstellen.
