Nee, das paßt nicht. So ein Teelicht hat vielleicht 100 Grad außen, 
maximal 150 Grad. Das reicht nicht fürs Lot, schon gar nicht oben 
draufgestellt. Und Temperaturen, bei denen handelsübliches Lot schmilzt, 
sind immer auch ungesund fürs Silizium.

Was aber nicht heißt, daß es gleich kaputt ist. Das Problem ist nur, daß 
ab einer bestimmten Temperatur (so 150 Grad) die eindiffundierte 
Dotierung, also die Halbleiterstrukturen, nicht mehr an Ort und Stelle 
bleiben, also weiterdiffundieren. Wie lange das gut geht, hängt von den 
Reserven ab, die der jeweilige Prozeß der Chipherstellung hat, bzw. der 
individuelle Chip selber.

Zurück zum Teelicht: Der Trick war AFAIR, gleichzeitig auf der 
halbkaputten GPU etwas grafikintensives laufen zu lassen. Wird der Chip 
(statt wie üblich gekühlt) mit dem Teelicht beheizt, reicht das u.U. 
aus, das Lot aufzuschmelzen. Problematisch ist dabei, daß der Chip wegen 
seiner "Innenheizung" und Wärmeabfuhr durchs PCB dabei *noch* heißer 
wird (Wärmewiderstand!), als wenn man nur möglichst kurzzeitig von außen 
mit der Heißluftpistole dabeigeht. Die anliegende Betriebsspannung 
dürfte in dieser Überlastungssituation ebenfalls potentiell ungesund 
sein. Insofern halte ich die Teelicht-Methode nicht für empfehlenswert.
