I get a good sig on this one, but it has no line-wrapping.

gpg: Signature made Sun 26 Apr 2015 11:45:46 PM EDT using RSA key ID CEAFFF9D
gpg: Good signature from "Steve Carroll (Do you hear me now?) <fretwizzer@gmail.com>"
gpg: WARNING: This key is not certified with a trusted signature!
gpg: There is no indication that the signature belongs to the owner.
Primary key fingerprint: 3A0C 0D5C E590 4EE5 C3AD 8047 2D37 6FA6 CEAF FF9D

Must be a google screwup. Try a long message with hard returns before
80 character mark and see if it signs properly.

Yeah, I was actually doing that before I saw this post show up. I'm going to try another long line here to see if it breaks again... pretty sure it will. I don't think this was happening on the iMac, I reposted that first post and it had some long lines in it.

Not surprised you are used to the short one failing, "Tater Tot".

gpg: Signature made Sun 26 Apr 2015 11:37:27 PM EDT using RSA key ID CEAFFF9D
gpg: BAD signature from "Steve Carroll (Do you hear me now?) <fretwizzer@gmail.com>"

Google may have mangled the message with the long line. Try signing
something short. Let's just make sure the signing part works.

Never used it but damned does it seem hard. You two are both on Macs.

His dipship son Ryan could figure it out.

That's your public key. You have to use --export-secret-keys
to export your private key.

Not sure unless it a mangled copy.

Doh! Wrong public key. I thought something was wrong with that "cola"
label.

delete the one I gave you and import this one:

While it would make it where he could still deny his non-signed posts, he
would never again be able to deny his signed posts. This would mean there
would be words he could not insist were not his.

This is a part of his game: whenever he is called out he knows he has the
option to insist it was a forged or hacked post. Signing would take that
away. He will never do it.

There are also mobile Usenet clients. His real reason is he wants to be able
to deny *any* message he has posted as being from a forger or having been
"hacked" by his ex-girlfriend (and me, of course).

Carroll has denied knowing how to install the Tor Browser he pointed to (it
requires nothing more than opening the icon you download and then dragging
the application). Next he might deny knowing how to copy and paste.
