Hi, all.
I'm Alberto e I've more than 20 years of experience with delphi.
Now, I'm moving to java, so, I'm searching information for the "right way".
My intention, at this moment, is learn how develop and expose web services usable by mobile (ios/android) or windows dekstop application (maybe, linux too but later..)

I have seen these links:

https://netbeans.org/kb/docs/websvc/rest.html (i tried, but it doesn't work for me...)

but I have not experience to choose the "right way". So, I would need to know:


1) standard technology to use (REST/RESTful, business interface..or other?)
1) best ide to do it (netbeans, eclipse, jdeveloper...or other?)

I apologize about my doubts will be sound like "stupid", but I would start this new "adventure" in right way.
