You mean the 8266 instruction set is bad?  Maybe you're right, I didn't
look closely, it just seemed like a distantly MIPS-related 32 bit
vanilla cpu.

You mean Eforth?  There's tons of other Forths available for the ARM
etc.; is Eforth of particular interest?
