The bible was written by different people over thousands of years, edited
and re-edited over that time, and is of course contradictory and a poor
moral guide. With that said, there are many Christians who are wonderful
people -- they look to the good in the Bible and try to live morally despite
what is in their holy book. Heck, the current Pope seems mostly moral and
decent.

Personal attacks from those who troll show their own insecurity. They cannot
use reason to show the message to be wrong so they try to feel somehow
superior by attacking the messenger.

They cling to their attacks and ignore the message time and time again.
