My personal view is the Bible is better understood, as a work of fiction, if you assume it is written from the point of view of an unreliable narrator and his followers. But that is just my view, and surely not the intent of the authors. But whatever people believe is fine by me -- how they treat others matters. >>> This isn't the first newsgroup he has posted in, and >>> Google doesn't care. >> >> Everyone posts using a unique MAC address, and this particular poster >> is using the same set of names. Still an easy (if not fully effective) way to stop this: Google could listen to the complaints and kill the accounts. The flooder has noted in other groups he has been kicked from many other services and that is why he uses GG. >> And if they won't act, then we need to move in and infiltrate their >> organization and implement change from the inside. I do not see the posts any more but I will admit I am not happy they are so heavily focused on me. Nothing I can do about that though (the two people doing the flooding have been trolling me for over a decade, the main one doing so without getting any direct response from me in years... they are not exactly sane) >> And if we can't move in that way for whatever reason, then perhaps >> what's needed is new legislation to make it illegal to post spam to >> widely published groups like this because it is a literal theft of >> all of our machine and time resources. Agreed: but Google could look at the complaints I, and I am sure others, have sent in and kill the accounts. -- Personal attacks from those who troll show their own insecurity. They cannot use reason to show the message to be wrong so they try to feel somehow superior by attacking the messenger. They cling to their attacks and ignore the message time and time again. <https://youtu.be/H4NW-Cqh308>
