Nope. You clearly haven't even used this feature. As usual you are forming
misguided opinions based on pure ignorance. I happen to routinely encode
videos unattended for hours at a time on my Mac. After I walk away, the
screen goes to sleep while encoding continues. Since Apple knows I am not
actively using the Mac, messages first go to my phone (or whatever other
device I am using at the time).

Nonsense. What you describe above is not how it works.  I've never missed a
message from Apple. 

Again, it's obvious you haven't actually used this functionality - but as
usual that's not stopping you from spewing bullshit and making yourself
look like a fool.
