Calendars are databases full of rich information which isn't quite the same as Word documents, and you need to take that into account. If you want to share your calendar with another iCal user thgouth simple file sharing and copying, then you can Export the calendar (look for Export in the File menu), copy the exported file to another computer, and import it there (File menu again). > It sounds like that can't be done with an iCal calendar. Strange. Manual file copies for sharing seems so laborious, clunky, and 1990s to me. I don't get why anyone would actively avoid having their calendar (and contacts, photos, music, bookmarks, etc) automatically shared on all of your devices without you having to lift a finger. That's what you get by default with the latest Apple operating systems. -- E-mail sent to this address may be devoured by my ravenous SPAM filter. I often ignore posts from Google.
