I've just come off a long session with a girl from BT. We eventually
established that sending an e-mail from my laptop using outlook
express to my gjenkins address did not tag the subject with Spam?. But
when I sent the same e-mail from Pluto it did acquire the tag. She
therefore declared that there was no problem with btinternet.

I use a BTHome Hub 3.0 as my router. The setup for this insists that
my mails are sent via my btinternet address before it is sent on to
gjenkins. There is apparently no way to alter this which accounts for
why it always come via BT.

I am now wondering whether I should change the SMTP settings in
Popstar choices to the btinternet address, What effect would this have
on incoming mail? My Popstar version is 2.05 BTW. Where is v.2.06 to
be found? 

I've just found an old news message that you talked with CJE on how to
set up the choices which I have now done. Suck it and see for the
answer.
