It is pretty straightforward. Surely with Hermes (certainly
with Windows and Symbian E-mail software) you have to enter
the name of the SMTP server, the SMTP user name and the SMTP
password manually.

And at least with POPStar you only need to do this once.
With Windows and Symbian you have to do this for each and
every e-mail domain you have.

When Graham signed up with Purley Hosting he will have
received an e-mail with all sorts of information.

Mine has a section headed Web/FTP

It lists the hosting plan, domain name, IP address, FTP
server, then the two crucial bits.

These are the login username and the login password.

Assume that login username is smitxyzc1 and the login
password is smi56987

Elsewhere in this e-mail is the name of the SMTP server

These are what is needed to set up POPStar.

In Popstar.choices:

# Name of SMTP server
SMTP: mail.gjenkins.me.uk (o something very similar I would
guess)

SMTP.username:smitxyzc1
SMTP.password:smi56987

You can adjust the other settings, if you need to.

If you have mislaid the e-mail that Neil sent when you took
out the domain, you will have to ask him for it again.
