Which, given the increasing tendency for people to have heir
own domain(s), seems rediculous.

Given that real spammers seem to have no problems forging IP
addresses to get round blacklisting, they presumably have
other ways of getting their stuff past other checks too.

I had an e-mail to a gmail address rejected today, at least
with an explanation of what had happened, when sent via the
freenet.de SMTP server, using authentication.

Resending, using the Phone Coop SMTP server,
unauthenticated, seemed to work.

Not a lot of logic there, I would have thought.
