Thanks Mike. Got your point.
When I put in the corrected line you supplied, as above, the dos window says "system can't find the specified directory" (or words to that effect), as expected.
Fortunately, it continues to the next line and starts the VB "wrapper" program, "install.exe".

Mmm. I don't think the self extracting .exe makes any request for administrator status, now I come to look at it.
