You may like whatever you want.

I counted his various errors in connection to the difference between 
vectors and scalars as an error.

E.g. he wrote about the velocity of light c, if he meant actually 'speed 
of light in vacuum'.

This contained two seperate errors:

1) velocity is a vector and vectors have a direction. But that direction 
was obviously not meant.
Correct would be 'speed of light', which is treated as a scalar.

2) the medium is important, hence you must not forget to mention it (as 
Einstein did occasionally)


Also a problem: vectors can be multiplied in two ways. It is therefore 
mandatory to mention, which one the author wanted to use (what Einstein 
didn't).

If no particular sign is mentioned for multiplication between vectors, 
the scalar product is assumed.

But in this case some equations become wrong.
