quote

"In mathematics, the cross product or vector product (occasionally
directed area product, to emphasize its geometric significance) is a
binary operation on two vectors in a three-dimensional oriented
Euclidean vector space (named here E ), and is denoted by the symbol × "

/endquote

Since we find that 'x' between 'Massenzahl',and 'Beschleunigungszahl' we
are requested to assume, he meant vectors with these words (used in the
German version for mass and acceleration).

The use of these words alone would be - in my oppinion - sufficient to
disqualify the text. But the cross was actually wrong.
